Can you believe it??? Our 4th Annual "Be a Tart for a Day" event is coming up soon!

Sunday, September 30th 2007 .... noon to 5pm
At Caesar Martini's Restaurant, 140 University Avenue West, Waterloo, Ontario.
Tickets are $32.00 - (tax and gratuities included) covers 3 course meal - numerous door prizes, talent competition, celebrity judges, Tart parade, Photographer onsite for that special shot!

Dust off those 4-inch heels and dig out the fishnet stockings! Get yourself "all Tarted up" and come join us for a fabulous and hilarious day. Those who have attended our previous Tart Days are already lining up for tickets, so contact Pat quickly - there are oly 92 tickets available this year.

Note that you MUST wear a hat (not necessarily red) to be in the parade, and bring your own "contestant number" that is the same number as your ticket number. You can get creative with designing that! Costume colour is optional - it does not have to be red and purple! Let's see some really elegant Tarts this year!

Before you place your ticket order, you will need to decide on your menu selection. Please look over the menu below carefully and make your choice, BEFORE ordering your ticket. This means we need a name and meal choice for each ticket ordered. Send a Stamped, Self-Addressed Envelope and cheque, made payable to "The Raspberry Tarts", to Pat and you will get e-mail confirmation.

MENU 2007 "Be a Tart for a Day"

Starter
A ... MIXED GREENS
Fresh spring mix, cucumber, red onion and tomato, tossed in Chef’s own herb vinaigrette.
B ... SOUP
Canadian maple butternut squash soup.

Entreée
A ... TZATZIKI CHICKEN SANDWICH
Panko breaded chicken served on rustic ciabatta bread with havarti cheese, tzatziki sauce and a sauté of roasted yellow peppers, Bermuda onion and pepperoncinis.
B ... LENTIL WALNUT BURGER
Homemade vegetable patty served on a crusty Kaiser topped with cilantro mayonnaise, red onion, roma tomatoes, watercress mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
C ... QUICHE
Our chef’s team has spent hours to research different flavours to go along with our own flaky crust. This Quiche will be filled with Angus beef, bacon, arugula, caramalized onion & cream cheese.
D ... GRILLED SALMON
A hand cut Atlantic salmon fillet grilled and topped with Teriyaki glaze and toasted sesame, served aside saffron basmati rice and lemon grilled asparagus.

Dessert
Raspberry, rubarb and granny smith apple crumble topped with premium French vanilla ice cream.


A limited number of souvenir copies of the "Fifty-Plus and Fabulous" 2005 Charity Calendar will also be available in exchange for a donation of $5 or more.
